Hey there! Thank you for visiting my little spot on the web. I'm a Jesus loving, artist in the making, Starbucks brew-at-home in my Keurig maker, read when I can, blog all the time, sew, knit and crochet now and then - but usually mess it up, middle child, quiet and reserved woman with five little chicks who poke their heads out from under my wings more and more these days.
My name is Faith, I live in Augusta Georgia with my husband, Daniel and our four children - Beth, Emma, Katie-Abigail, Josiah & Eli. I was home schooled K-12, and raised in a very conservative Christian environment (Reformed Baptist, to be specific) I married at the tender age of 17 (I guess I thought I was all grown up!) and got pregnant three months later which started the cycle of getting pregnant about every two years until our first four of our kids were born - then three years later we were surprised by baby number five! I LOVE motherhood (most days) and adore my husband and children. I am very thankful to be able to be a stay-at-home/work at home mom. My husband de-converted about two years ago, which radically altered how I look at and experience Christianity. I am definitely not as conservative or as fundamentalist as I used to be but I cherish my relationship with God and am very thankful for His faithfulness to me.

I've been taking pictures ever since I can remember. We would go to the Atlanta Zoo and my parents would give each of us a turn with their camera and I've been learning and growing in my photography skills ever since! I currently shoot with a Nikon D700 and usually use my Nikon f/3.5-5.6 18-55mm lens, or my Nikon 55-200mm I've been writing ever I could form a sentance with grand dreams of writing a book one day. I've been blogging for about five years, on and off, it's my main creative outlet. I enjoy reading your comments and conncecting with other mothers, writers and photographers around the world!
I have been teaching online photography classes for nearly a year and a half now, it's been the most crazy/wonderful experience. I really love it and am thankful to have a "job" I can do from home that I LOVE. I work crazy hours - mostly 10pm-2am - but I can't imagine any other job being better than the one I made for myself.
