Blurb photo book

You can have a photo book printed at just about any super-store, pharmacy or online photo printing service but the quality of the photos printed in a Blurb photo book are amazing. I have not heard of anyone who recommends a photo book printing service higher than they recommend Blurb. Many of my blogger and photographer friends have used Blurb and they have all said the same thing "you won't be disappointed" and they are right - I've never been disappointed with the books I've ordered from Blurb.

One of the things I love best about Blurb is how easy it is to design a high-quality book. Some of the other photo book sites I've used are very limited in how much of the book you can edit, but with Blurb I can simply import my photos from my desktop, Flickr, Picasa, SmugMug or Photobucket into BookSmart - the desktop book creator, drag and drop them into one of dozens of templates or I can even create my own template! I can add as much or as little text as I want to the pages. It's highly customizable and very easy to use. When I've finished creating my book I upload it to Blurb and send it off for printing.

But Blurb isn't only for photographs, there are twelve fully customizable layouts for cookbooks, yearbooks, guestbooks, journals, poetry, text-only or my favorite - the blog to book. With just a few clicks I imported my blog into a book - I selected which posts I wanted to keep and left out the ones I didn't want in my book (like the posts with mostly just links) and voila! An amazing book.

Just a few more clicks to customize the appearance and I have something I'm 100% proud of:

There was more customization I could have done also, if I'd wanted to but this is just too cute!!

If you haven't used Blurb before you don't know what you're missing! I recently made a Blurb book with photos of our trip to the beach and it turned out beautifully!! Looking back at all of the happy faces of my family enjoying being together puts a smile on my face and being able to flip through the pages of a book is so much more special than just viewing them on my computer.

The small print: yes, these are affiliate links - I was compensated for doing this post and will receive commission if you purchase by clicking one of my links (or sign up to be a shareasale.com affiliate) however that doesn't change the fact that I love love love Blurb publishing and wouldn't even dream of using anyone else for my books. I highly recommended them even before they began promoting through shareasale.com and I will continue to recommend them regardless of any affiliate relationship.

I've been using Blurb for years so a gift card would go towards my next blog book. I have one made every year for my personal blog.

I'd do a photo book of baby #2's first year -- I'm determined that he has just as many photos as baby #1. I've been wanting to try Blurb forever!

I'd love to win a blurb book. I did one about a year ago and love having it. If I were to win, I'd do something with my 365 that I'm going to complete in about 2 weeks. Never missed a day. Give me a lucky number on this one, would you?

Mine would be about our adventures in 2010, so that I can move on to 2011!! Maine and San Diego, before and after Emmy was born. I've been trying to do one for ages on Shutterfly and it's super annoying and not nearly as cool!
